By now you have probably heard of the new player in the social media industry aka Clubhouse. The super exclusive platform that everyone seems to be talking about and trying to get an invite for. But… what is it really?
And is it actually worth exploring and learning? How can you use this new platform to market yourself and your business, and connect with other people?
I know – so many questions! But that’s why I’m bringing the expert on the topic on the podcast – aka Melissa Litchfield – to share the ins and outs of Clubhouse, how to get started on the platform and how to use it as a lead gen tool for your business.
ABOUT MELISSA LITCHFIELD
Melissa is a southern California native, currently living in Savannah, Georgia. For the past 5 years, she’s been helping online entrepreneurs market themselves online with paid and organic traffic.
She owns Litchfield Media Co, a digital advertising company that helps small businesses and entrepreneurs skyrocket their impact and revenue with paid traffic, and she’s been actively using Clubhouse to scale her community and her business in a completely new way.
On the episode, Melissa shared a ton of gems and insider tips on how to get started on Clubhouse and use it to market your business. But here’s the very first thing you should focus on when you gain access to Clubhouse:
#1 TIP / OPTIMISE YOUR CLUBHOUSE BIO FOR SUCCESS
Your Clubhouse bio is your most important “real estate” on the platform. Especially the first three lines. Because that’s what people will see when they click on your profile picture inside a room – so those are key!
Be very clear in those first three lines about who you are, what you do, who do you serve and what makes you unique. This is going to be your opportunity to hook them and, hopefully, they will then expand your profile to read the rest of your bio.
Something not many people are aware of is that certain keywords are also searchable within your bio, so make sure to include some key terms in your bio that your Ideal Client may potentially be searching for on the platform.
