ONISANDO is a contemporary fast-food restaurant serving delicious Japanese sandwiches ("Sando") with fresh, authentic ingredients. When the Founders of ONISANDO came to us, they shared that they want their brand to feel like "an Asian Hell's Kitchen". Challenge accepted, we said!

The name ONISANDO was inspired by Oni, the Japanese supernatural demon, which was also the foundation for the inspiration behind the visual branding. We created a minimal mark representing the head of a demon which, when deconstructed, also forms the word ONI. The dark, warm color palette brought a sense of mystery and excitement to the brand, while also giving it a very edgy, contemporary look.
