Phileas Fox is a multilingual nursery school in the heart of London. We knew from the beginning that we'd have to create something that won’t simply resonate with Phileas Fox's clients, but will be a mascot and true inspiration for the children of this nursery.
The name “Phileas Fox” was inspired by Phileas Fogg from Jules Verne’s novel “Around the World in 80 Days”. The little fox character that we create became a friend and guide for children as they make their first academic steps! As an additional touch, I also designed a series of custom illustrations of the little fox using the same means of transportation as the main character in Jules Verner’s novel! These illustrations now hang in the main hall of the nursery.
